We offer extended hours/access appointments every evening in the Abbey Health Centre and on Saturdays at Norton Medical Centre. These include GP and Nurse appointments.

Hartlepool & Stockton CCG provides an out-of-hours service between the hours of 18:00 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and from 18:00 Friday to 08:00 Monday inclusive. To contact them please ring NHS 111

You can also use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

• Treat yourself at home
• Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Evening and Weekend Appointments

Our PCN (Primary Care Network) have collaborated to offer evening and weekend appointments to our patients. These are both GP and Nurse appointments and are available Mon-Fri till 8:30pm at the Abbey Health Centre and on Saturdays 9am-4pm at Norton Medical Practice.
